Cheesy Beefy Dog Bones Recipe

This is a super easy to follow dog biscuit / cookie recipe.

Ingredients For Cheesy Beefy Dog Bones
1 cup regular flour
1 cup whole wheat
1 1/4 cups shredded cheddar cheese
1/2 cup vegetable oil
1/4 cup beef broth

  • Preheat oven to 400 degrees F.
  • Combine flour, cheese, and vegetable oil until mixture is the consistencyof coarse meal.
  • Slowly add beef broth until mixture forms a ball. You might need to add in more broth for a workable dough.
  • Divide dough into 12 equal pieces and roll out each piece 1/2 inch thick.
  • Cut out bones with a bone shape cookei cutter.
  • Do not re-roll scraps of the dough - instead, cut them into smaller pieces for little treats. These may bake much quicker than the 'bones'.
  • Bake on an ungreased cookie sheet for 10 to 15 minutes. The bottom of the bones should be slightly brown when they are fully cooked.
  • Cool on a wire rack
  • Refrigerate in an airtight container.

Keep a batch of these doggie bones on hand, for special treats. You'll have a happy pooch.
